Jessica, the founder of Future Wellbeing, with extensive lived and hands-on experience working with children in various settings including being a foster carer. She has qualifications in both Aged Care and Disability. She has developed a vast understanding of trauma and the impacts it creates on disabilities in children.
Her diverse background includes practical involvement in different aspects of child development, allowing her to bring a holistic perspective to her work. With a passion for psychosocial disability support, Jessica is dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of individuals facing a variety of challenges.
Jessica delivers her services in a highly outcomes focused framework, ensuring the people she supports reach their full potential and have access to all quality services required. She has an extensive understanding of the NDIS framework and implements her participants’ plans to maximise the full choice and control of Future Wellbeing’s participants. Her commitment to learning is ongoing with recent training completed in Pathological Demand Avoidance.
Jessica volunteers with local committees in the disability sector as she is passionate about ensuring quality service providers are linked together. She also provides free mentorship and guidance to other aspiring NDIS business owners. Through strategic partnerships and community engagement, she shares the vision of a more
inclusive society with her network of collaborators. Jessica’s leadership is characterised by a blend of creativity, compassion, and a results-driven approach, as she continuously strives to drive positive change and foster a culture of inclusivity within the disability community. In her spare time, Jess likes spending time with her family, and her dog and playing tennis.
Maddie is a highly experienced professional with a solid 12-year background in support coordination, team leadership, and support work. Her expertise in her completion of Diploma of Community Services which has equipped her with a deep understanding of a range of complex disabilities. Throughout her career, Maddie has consistently demonstrated her commitment to delivering exceptional outcomes, empowering the people she supports.
Maddie’s main area’s of expertise are within complex physical disabilities, such as spinal cord injuries, cerebral palsy, Parkinson, MS. She has a positive focus on rehabilitation for participants leaving hospital and ensuring supports coupled together with capacity building are forefront.
Additionally, Maddie has long term experience in supporting First Nations people and has developed a vast understanding of cultural awareness which enables her to best support those from many CALD back grounds.
In her role as a leader, Maddie excels at managing support workers, guiding them to meet their professional guidelines, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. She is passionate about coaching and mentoring her team, helping them grow in their roles and develop their skills. Her collaborative leadership style ensures that her team is not only well-equipped to handle the demands of their roles but also motivated to provide compassionate and personalised support.
Outside of her professional life, Maddie leads an active and vibrant lifestyle. She enjoys playing sports, watching musical theatre shows, going to the beach, and travelling around the world. These diverse interests reflect her dynamic personality and her love for exploring new experiences and cultures.
In her spare time, Maddie stays active by playing soccer and Oz Tag, and she values the moments she spends with her family. This balance between her professional dedication and personal passions makes Maddie a well-rounded individual who brings energy, compassion, and expertise to everything she does.
Bella is a psychology graduate, a dedicated and compassionate professional with a profound understanding of human behaviour and development. She is currently doing on her Honours. Her journey in support work began with hands on experience working directly with Children in Out of Home Care, allowing her to witness the unique challenges and strengths that children face.
Bella takes a very proactive approach to her role ensuring that her participants are reaching their goals. She has a gentle and compassionate approach and believes in positive long-term relationships.
Fueled by a passion for making a positive impact, she possesses the eagerness combined with academic background with practical expertise to offer comprehensive support for people with disabilities both visible and invisible.
Her commitment to creating inclusive environments and tailored supports stems from her own belief in the potential of every individual to thrive, regardless of their abilities. With a holistic approach and a heart-driven mission, she aims to contribute to the wellbeing and empowerment of persons with diverse needs.
In her spare time, Bella enjoys, spending time with her family, doing her artwork and is passionate about many genres of music.
Melanie brings a well-rounded background in accounting, rostering, and care coordination, supported by a Certificate IV in Accounting and a Diploma in Community Services. Her career spans both administrative and direct care roles, providing her with a comprehensive understanding of client needs, service delivery, and effective team collaboration.
With a strong passion for supporting people with disabilities, Melanie has worked extensively as a disability support worker, including roles with the Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ). Her experience covers supporting NDIS participants with physical and psychosocial disabilities, as well as young people in Out of Home Care. She finds great fulfilment in helping individuals achieve their goals and build confidence and independence in their daily lives.
Known for being organised, calm, and nurturing, Melanie is highly regarded for her person-centred approach and ability to build rapport. She values preparation, adaptability, and clear communication, which consistently lead to positive outcomes for the people she supports and their broader care teams.
Outside of work, Melanie enjoys expressing her creativity through arts and crafts, dancing, and spending time with family and friends. These interests keep her grounded and energised, allowing her to bring warmth, balance, and authenticity to both her personal and professional life.
